Transforming Communities: A Partnership with Social Housing to Install MVHR Systems

In VENTI’s commitment to creating healthier living environments, we are Transforming Communities through a partnership with Social Housing Companies. We are thrilled to share the story of our collaboration with these companies whom we have been working with to Install New MVHR Systems.  Throughout this project we have enhanced the well-being of residents through the installation of Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems.

Creating a Vision for Improved Living Spaces

At VENTI, we believe that everyone deserves to live in a home with clean, fresh air. Our partnership with Social Housing companies to install MVHR recognised the shared vision we have to improve living conditions for their residents. We embarked on a journey to install New MVHR systems in a sample of their single room dwellings in Lambeth Council. There had been reports of condensation and mould build up in a large community property. The issues of poor ventilation faced by the tenants was due, in some cases, to vents being blocked or incorrectly functioning.

On Investigation, we discovered Vents were being blocked by tenants due to a perception of high levels of heat loss and raised energy bills. Our New MVHR installation has been recognised as transformative – both ensuring that homes and occupants now have access to optimal indoor air quality and reduced problems with mould due to condensation. Our MVHR units are both efficient & quiet to run, ensuring minimal noise disturbance and positive impact on energy efficiency.

The initial installation of units included a four home trial. Ashley, Managing Director of VENTI, was onsite to support the installation of the units and to get initial feedback from the electricians and site managers.

“It was a great experience to be on site with the teams of people renovating the 160+ homes. They were eager to trial the VENTI MVHR Systems before rolling out the installations site wide. The importance was placed on having a system that kept condensation to a minimum, retained as much heat as possible and did this without disturbing the tenants. The feedback from the installers is this is exactly how the systems are working. They were impressed with the speed and ease of install, meaning that disruption to the tenants was kept to a minimum.”

Ashley, Managing Director, VENTI Group.

The new MVHR systems in Social Housing contribute to a healthier indoor environment. They reduce the risk of respiratory issues and promoting overall well-being.

The positive changes we’ve witnessed are inspirational! We are eager to continue contributing to the well-being of residents in social housing. We are working towards this with a spread of the project to a further 160+ properties.

At VENTI, we believe that through partnership with Social Housing companies, we can eventually create environments where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. This project exemplifies our commitment to making a difference in the communities we serve.
