Specification from the Drawing Phase

VENTI can help you design the required ventilation systems from your drawings.

With the updated Government regulations, ventilation must adequately meet the requirement of building control for ventilation as per Approved Document F. The VENTI products can provide mechanical ventilation without the need for trickle vents or other forms of background ventilation.

When specifying the VENTI product range there are a couple of key requirements. The first is what is the room used for and what does this class the space as:

Poor Ventilation

Inadequate ventilation is a leading cause of damp. When moist air is unable to escape, it can lead to condensation on surfaces, creating a breeding ground for mould. Kitchens and bathrooms, where moisture levels are naturally higher, are particularly susceptible.

Mould

Condensation

Condensation occurs when warm, moist air meets a cold surface. Common in poorly ventilated areas, such as bedrooms and bathrooms, it can lead to damp patches, mould growth, and even damage to furniture and clothing.

Why Ventilate

Enhanced Air Quality: DMEV or D-MVHR systems like the ARIA and FLUXO provide controlled, continuous ventilation with the ability to filter incoming air. This allows for better removal of pollutants, allergens, and particulate matter from the indoor air, contributing to improved air quality compared to trickle vents.
