Owner-occupied and local authority homes had the highest central heating coverage at 95%, followed by housing association homes at 91%, and private rented homes at 86%.

In 2023-24, 59% of owner occupiers and 53% of social renters reported having an electricity smart meter, versus 47% of private renters.
